Tor is the executive producer and creator of the A World of Happiness project. Tor is a jazz pianist, a producer and a composer for film and television and the father of a four-year-old daughter, Sydnie, who was, in part, the inspiration for the creation of A World of Happiness.

Tor chosen the Pediatric AIDS Foundation as his charity, which creates a future of hope worldwide by eradicating pediatric AIDS, providing care and treatment to people with HIV/AIDS, and accelerating the discovery of new treatments for other serious and life-threatening pediatric illnesses.
