Bradley Whitford and wife, Jane Kaczmarek, have joined many other celebrities on the Walt Disney Records compilation A World of Happiness.  The album will contain songs and readings relating to themes and lessons such as being polite, learning from others and friendship. Money from sales will be donated to children's charities chosen by the performers, and will include St. Jude's Foundation and Pediatric: AIDS

Oldman Sings for "A World of Happiness"

Actor Gary Oldman (Sirius Black) is one of many artists contributing on a new children's CD called "A World of Happiness". The CD, with portions of the proceeds going to children's charities designated by each of the performing artists, features two songs sung by Gary Oldman. Mr. Oldman also directed a music video of one of the songs on the album by Deborah Harry, and Jane's Addiction singer Perry Farrell. The title track of the CD will be featured on Captiol Hill as part of the Music in Our Schools campaign on March 11th.

When Farrell met Harry

Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrel and Blondie’s Debbie Harry have teamed up for a duet, but its definitely aimed at their younger fans. The pair have joined actors including Samuel L Jackson and Gary Oldman and even basketball great Magic Johnson, to record tracks for Disney's A World Of Happiness album. The idea of the project is to teach kids lessons about being polite, learning from others and friendship, through music.
